LCC's one of the top priority company culture is "Cleaning". It is equipped with cleaning and landscaping tools that can be easily used anywhere such as production site, offices, raw material & subsidiary material warehouse, and finished goods warehouse. On Thursday, there is a "Clean-Day" in which all employee participate for a hour from 8am to 9am to clean the production facilities. On Tuesday, landscape manage activity and Office Clean day will be held, and in the evening there will be a "Clean Floor activity" for production workers.

Thursday's "Clean-Day" office workers are placed in a production field to polish every corner of the manufacturing, filling, and packaging facilities, cleaning and tidying up the size and spare parts and tools that are easily missing. And they cleaning up mixers, air conditioning facilities, storage tanks, and pipe as well. Once a month, we clean raw & subsidiary material warehouses and finished goods warehouses, wash electric forklifts, wipe off the inside of commuter bus, and wash away the inside of Drum Yard and Tank Yard. We operate our own color painting team to maintain the original model by painting colors.

Employees are placed sequentially in Restroom, smoking area, office, factory entrance, lounge, and educational center. They clean their area according to a check list, and weed removal on the lawn is done with plows all over the place in lunchtime during stroll. In the case of landscape gardening, we outsource the lawn mowing, but it is our responsibility to remove weeds, sweep fallen leaves, and plant flowers every season. The Seoul office also manages the entrance of the building and plant a beautiful flower. They make a garden with "clean & green", which brightens the hearts of the neighbors.

LCC, which manufacturing cosmetics and quasi-drugs, must give top priority in quality. So Articles 1 and 2 of the company's mission emphasize that it will grow into a global company with quality competitiveness.

In the measurement, manufacture, storage, and filling and packaging processes of raw materials, it is possible to protect 'best quality' by preventing contamination of microorganisms that are not known when and where they occur. After experiencing the health crisis of cancer surgery in 2005, I entered the Gukseondo and practice breath exercise program for two hours every day at dawn. I work in the countryside and work early in the morning, so I only have two days a week for excercise at the training center, and rest of the day I also excercise it at my home or dormitory. I saw the instructor clean a large training center of about 132㎡ by himself, I started cleaning by myself after training.

Sixty to seventy people trained seven to eight times, and there were many contamination, such as sweat, hair, but none of them seemed to grab brooms for cleaning. Why should I clean it cause I'm paying for it? You may think that.

I came from the countryside, so I had to solve most of my problems during my middle school, high school, university, and work life while in Busan, Seoul. After the foundation, even though I got married, I left Seoul to manage the factory and remained single. I learned the habit of washing clothes, organizing and tidying up the equipment and daily necessities, and cleaning the dormitory by myself without anyone's help.

Even now, if I take off my clothes and sweat after work and clean my house, I can get light exercise and relieve the stress of my company's work, and I even have the illusion that cleaning my house cleans every corner of my mind. I can reduce the waste of my life, which tends to be lazy, such as watching TV, and i can also get good ideas for reading books and running my company. In conclusion, cleaning my house serves as a catalyst for cleansing mind in a clean environment and leading me to a healthy and sincere daily life.

While working as a factory manager for a large company, I often went on business trips to a Japanese company for introduction new product technology and purchase equipment and raw material. Sometimes I visited Japanese companies for factory innovation and introduction of JIT, and went on business trips to learn and benchmark the source of their world's best competitiveness. As a long-lived company with over 100 and 200 years, they accumulated a lot of technical knowhow, and their sincerity in digging wells based on craftsmanship, it leaded to the outstanding quality and price competitiveness in the world.

In particular, their organization, tidying and cleaning have become routinize. Even when i visit small and medium-sized company, i can check the cleanliness of every corner of the factory also the machinery, equipment parts, consumables, and tools are clean and tidy.

The old machines, which are decades old, produced products of better quality than cutting-edge facilities through clean management, and the management and executives took the initiative in cleaning the factory, creating a mind that 'cleaning is important' with the participation of all employees.

Politicians use anti-Japanese sentiment to achieve their political objectives, but the general public is very satisfied with Japanese culture, food and tourism and has a lot to learn from them. It is evidence that Japan's population is Two and a half times more than korea, but 1.2 million japanese visit Korea a year, 7.5 million korean visit Japan annually for business or tourism.

Before the COVID-19, young people visited Japan a lot. They explained, "It's cheap, lot of attraction, secure, and clean, so I often go there." The '5S', which is becoming commonplace like their religious consciousness, leads to the conclusion that quality-firstism and increased productivity make them the best industrial competitiveness in the world. It seems that we must cross the threshold to move to advanced country such as cigarette butts thrown out of the car window, tailing at intersections to go any faster, bathing supplies and towels scattered in sauna, and piles of damaged public facilities and garbage, and illegal parking.

When I go to work, I clean the toilet and smoking area, and during lunch break I take a hoe and spend 1-2 hours a day walking and weed removal. When I go back to the dormitory, I clean up my room, living room, and kitchen. In the training of Gukseondo at dawn, I clean up my mind with breathing exercise program. All kinds of bodily waste are washed down by the sweat dripping down during climbing the mountain on Saturday and Sunday. From morning till night, Monday through Sunday, it seems to live cleaning my body and mind, my house and office all day. Cleaning habits make me feel better, give me positive energy to do anything, and make me feel humble and pure.

If you visit someone else's house and look at the restroom, you can see the peace and harmony of the family. When you visit the company, you can predict the future of the company according to whether the factory is clean and tidy.

The habit of organizing, and cleaning must take the lead from executive staff, which gives them a low attitude toward their subordinates and a humble attitude toward them.
